What is EZfi Licensing?

EZfi™ licensing enables cable manufacturers to license and offer Novate System’s EZfi™ solutions directly to their customers. This solution is best for high volume manufacturing. Since EZfi™ is based on reel-less technology, a Novate Systems’ certified coiling machine must be used to coil the fiber. 

With EZfi™ Licensing, customers receive a coiling machine and the EZfi™ box based on the chosen license. Novate Systems packages the coil and all other required components in the EZfi™ box. All elements contained in the box are connected, tested, and certified in the factory to increase the speed of deployment and reliability.

With EZfi™ Licensing, customers receive 1 box with everything needed to allow 1 technician to connect a home.

EZfi Licensing Offerings

  • Annual certification fee
  • Monthly license fee based on the number of EZfiTM coils/boxes or based on a per foot basis if lengths are less than 150'
  • Boxes must be from Novate Systems, but white label boxes or customized labeling is permitted for an additional fee.
Pricing Model
EZfi™ Licensing trains and certifies your factory for making your own EZfi™ boxed solutions. Your factory must meet our minimum requirements for this option. The license includes requires an annual certification fee and a fee on a per coil/box basis that includes the rental cost of the coiling machine and the EZfi™ shipping box. Custom branding of the box is available for a fee. For customers who have or wish to buy their own machine, there is a discount.

EZfi™ comes in 3 easy to order packages based on contract length and the number of coils ordered annually:


  • Silver Packages come with 100k coils per year for 1, 2, or 3 year contracts. 
  • Gold Packages come with 500k coils per year for 1, 2, or 3 year contracts. 
  • Platinum Packages come with 1M coils per year for 1, 2, or 3 year contracts.


NOTE: The annual certification cost is a minimum of $10K + per diem costs per factory certification.
